Taha, the largest producer of hydraulic fracturing fluid, says it is “excited” about the “tremendous opportunity” to increase its market share in the U.S. market.
TahaHydRAulic PowerPlants has an initial production capacity of approximately 8,000 barrels per day and the company expects to increase that capacity by 1,000 bpd, according to a company statement.
Taha says it plans to “explore additional opportunities to increase production and expand its footprint.”
The U.K.-based company said in its annual report that its shale oil and gas reserves and its oil-rich deposits are “highly complementary.”
In the U, Taha will invest $5 billion over the next three years to develop an infrastructure to handle future demand, expand its production and increase production to its planned 4,500 bpd.
